In addition to our daily schedule there are several things that we do to add to our program. These activities include, but are not limited to, random acts of kindness, lightning outreaches, soul-a-thons, Campfire Experiences, team building activities, 26Nine after school program and Y-Partners (partnered with the YMCA). Some of these activities are self explanitory, but we would like to highlight one or two of them for you.
Have you ever wanted to worship God and eat a s'more at the same time? Now is your chance! This is why we have incorporated campfires into the MCA curriculum. The team comes together to discuss teach, preach, worship and occasionally enjoy a hot dog or a s'more. It is a time of fellowship and worship that you do not want to miss!
There are times during the school year when our daily schedule can become overwhelming. So every once in a while we like to take an hour (or a day) and just focus on team building activities. These may be best described as "educational games", and serve to allow our students to unwind, have fun and maybe even learn something on the way.
