Adopt-a-block is walking it out and putting into practice everything taught by Jesus. This is one of our inner city ministries in Masters Commission Alliance. Ministering to a city that USA Today called "The farthest and most unlikely city to return to a thriving community." WHAT A CHALLENGE! This is a chance for God to show that money can't change this city, idea after idea after idea can't save it, community programs can't save it, not even the church can. Only Jesus can change this community.
As a part of Masters Commission, we go door to door every Saturday sharing the love of God to the members of this torn community. We strive to build relationships with them and gain their trust so that eventually they might come to know the freedom and joy we enjoy as Christians. We consider this one of our most important missions. After all, this is what we are commanded to do. "Love your neighbor as yourself."
